Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actor. He began his career in acting by appearing in a variety of TV shows, including Opposite sex. He gained recognition for his character as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans appeared in further the film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels. These include TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). The character of Steve Rogers/Captain America is featured in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) along with Endgame in 2019 earned him even more recognition. He was one of the most highly paid actors on the planet through his roles in the Marvel franchise.
