Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was an teen, she has performed in traditional and popular music. Her musical interests are also extending to diverse genres such as hip-hop, soul and soul. Flamenco musician Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, yet having the grit of more mature singers. El Mal Querer is her second album that was released in 2018, which had a huge commercial and critical reception. Following Los Angeles, her debut album, she received a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami featured songwriting collaborations alongside a host of artists and producers like Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on March 20th, 2022 in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to be a part of Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was the first woman to win both of these awards.
